Jennifer Lopez has said time and time again that she has a great relationship with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony. In a recent interview with People, Lopez opens up about her 8-year-old twins, her modern family, and how she balances her relationships with her baby daddy and novio, Beau "Casper" Smart.
“My relationship with them, our references are always in reference to the kids. What’s best for them, what’s good for them, let’s talk this way in front of them… You know what I mean?," she said to People about the Puerto Rican salsa singer and Smart, who are both important men in the lives of Max and Emme. "Once they’re happy, they just add happiness and joy into the home and then everything else kind of goes from there,” she added.
The 46-year-old singer and actress also talked about the advantages of raising kids in the industry.
"They only know my lifestyle, a lot of traveling, irregularity, their schedule for school. What I love about our lifestyle is that it teaches them that change is constant. It happens and you shouldn't be afraid of it," she expressed, stating that her son and daughter adapt to it very well. "I just try to give them all the extra love I can so they always feel … no matter where we are or what’s happening or how much mommy’s working, we’re safe. We’re good," J.Lo said.
