Late last week, Joe Manganiello was hospitalized with appendicitis and was in an extremely serious condition, TMZ reported. Sources say that Sofía Vergara’s husband had gone in for emergency surgery, but when doctors began to operate, there were serious complications.
While there were no further details about the actor's condition, it is thought that Manganiello’s appendix probably burst.
The actor had to cancel an appearance on Sunday, April 17, and his representatives said it was due to a “chronic condition.”
Manganiello had several issues after tearing a bicep during the making of “Magic Mike” and had to get surgery for it, but sources insist this time the actor is being treated for something much more serious.
Hopefully, everything comes out as planned and Manganiello can head home to recover soon.
