Since joining the royal family, Kate Middleton has caught the eyes of many because of her astounding beauty. No wonder, she is one of the most photographed women in the world today, just like her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

Aside from her beauty, people from around the world also admire the Duchess of Cambridge because of her slender frame. With three children, she still manages to keep her 24-inch waistline and wear dresses that are only fitting for a beautiful duchess like her.

The first time Prince William met Kate, he was already mesmerized by her outstanding beauty. Back in the university, students in the campus knew Kate as the tall and slender woman with tiny waist and as the only lady in the campus to have won the heart of Prince William.

Despite the many years that have passed, many still envy Kate because of her long legs and model-like body frame. For most women her age, staying in good shape at 37 is a hard feat to achieve. Apparently, however, Kate has succeeded in that, and it all boils down to her diet.

Before she married Prince William in April of 2011, Kate made it a point to follow the Dukan diet to prepare herself for the big day. This diet is a low-carb diet and is a type of diet plan that is closely associated with fast weight loss. As someone who follows this diet, Kate limits her intake to lean protein, vegetables, and some healthy fats.

While it was difficult for her at first to stick to this diet plan, Kate Middleton has learned over the years to get used to it. Now, she is a huge fan of healthy meals. At home, she cooks for her family whatever food they like but she makes sure that she eats moderately. Like Queen Elizabeth, she also avoids starches like rice, potatoes and pasta.

“She drinks smoothies morning and afternoon, containing spirulina, kale, matcha, spinach, lettuce, cilantro, and blueberries,” a royal insider said. Occasionally, she makes roast dinners, curries and soups at home to satisfy her husband and children’s cravings.
