Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have been advised to represent Queen Elizabeth II more in their day-to-day work as members of the royal family. The suggestion came after one royal expert noticed that the two duchesses and their husbands have been doing something else.

While speaking with Hello! magazine, royal expert Ingrid Seward said that the Fab Four should always remember that every single thing they do is reflected in the British monarchy. As such, they should always have the monarchy’s best interest at heart.

“Both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should be seen as representing the UK and the Queen rather than promoting themselves,” she said. “Royalty is a family business and of course they should highlight their favorite causes, but also bear in mind whatever they do or say reflects on the overall business of the monarch,” she added.

Meanwhile, Seward also talked about the charitable work that the Fab Four has been doing. She said that their involvement with the different charities is what gives them a more positive image compared to elected politicians.

For instance, Prince Harry and Meghan asked their millions of followers on Instagram to nominate individuals and charities that have been promoting worthwhile causes. Every week, the royal couple has agreed to follow the nominated charities on the social media platform.

After unfollowing everyone on Instagram, the Sussex Royal account is now back to following 15 social media users. This includes the Tiny Tickets Charity, Global Wellness Day, Art of Hope, Love the Oceans, Beyond Blue, Lion Guardians, Rafiki Mwema, Earth Day Network, Plan International UK, Children International, Free Wheelchair Mission, Save the Bees, Blink Now Foundation, Waves for Change and Pawsitive Change Program.

But despite the praises that Meghan and Prince Harry received for their recent efforts to promote other charities and individuals, the royal couple has also received a slew of criticisms. The Duke of Sussex was slammed for saying that and his wife will only have a maximum of two kids to help save the planet. Meghan was also criticized for guest editing the September issue of British Vogue.
