Continuing its status as a discredited source for posting unsubstantiated news reports, the magazine In Touch, in its latest edition has picked up Kate Middleton to cater a dubious story to its readers via false sources. As per the story, Kate Middleton is “supposedly” planning to give a tell-all interview about, wherein she will talk about Meghan Markle and her take on being the upcoming “Queen.”

The latest issue of In Touch features a cover page with the headline “Kate Finally Talks! Forgiving Meghan, Preparing to be Queen & Baby No. 4!” splashed across it. The similarly preposterous article inside claims that the Duchess of Cambridge “wants to set the record straight.” The article went on to add the recent negative Tatler profile of Middleton, supposedly penned by “a friend of Meghan’s BFF Jessica Mulroney” and against which Middleton and Prince William took legal actions to demand its removal from the website.

As per the unnamed source, Middleton “wants to do an official sit-down interview in September to tell her side of the story, and how Harry and Meghan tore the family apart.” The article went on to add that Middleton is busy preparing for her role as the “Queen” and will be dishing out details on the same in the “tell-all interview” wherein she will also talk about how she and Prince William apparently “made it through the rough patch” of their relationship.

Debunking the story by picking on the very shaky points it is based on, Gossip Cop laid down a few well-establish facts that would be rather obvious to anyone who is aware of the facts. The very first point they mention is the fact that the place, channel, tabloid, or news website Middleton will give this alleged interview has not been mentioned in the article.

The second and rather glaring folly on part of In Touch is to keep forgetting that it will be years before Middleton and Prince William are next in line. Currently, it is Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles who are in line to be crowned next.

As for the Tatler profile, it is already widely known that the Duchess of Cambridge openly called out the website for misrepresenting her and even legal papers to Tatler to get the said profile article removed as it unfairly targeted Meghan Markle.

Even the author of the Tatler profile which carries the byline: “a friend of Meghan’s BFF Jessica, is dubious as reported by Gossip Cop, the only tentative relation Mulroney has with the website is that her sister-in-law Vanessa Mulroney is an ex-employee of Tatler and is reportedly friends with Anna Pasternak, the profile’s author.
