Kim Zolciak is expecting twins! The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star is already mother to four children with her husband, Kroy Biermann of the Atlanta Falcons and now has two more on the way. "I'm having twins and I couldn't be more excited," she told E! News. "I was completely shocked. I had no idea. It was a natural conception but twins do run in the family so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised."
Kim's reality show, "Don't Be Tardy" documented the discovery of her fifth pregnancy. Kim, 35, took over a dozen at home pregnancy test with her football playing husband, all of the tests were confirmed positive. The couple were instantly thrilled after discovering they were set to have another child together, embracing and kissing in excitement. Kim turns to her husband and sweetly states, "You did it again, lovey." She then reveals to the camera that she is hoping for a girl, "I personally would love a little girl because Brielle's going to be 18 soon, Ariana's six years away from being 18, it'll be in a house with three boys possibly and Kroy? That's a life of four-wheelers and football."
Kim and Kroy already have two sons together, Kroy Jr., 2, and Kash, 1. But she is also the mother of two daughters from a previous relationship, Brielle, 16, and Ariana, 12, whom Biermann recently adopted. Biermann tweeted his excitement about becoming the girls legal father writing, “One of the happiest days of my life was the day that @BrielleZolciak @arianazolciak legally became mine!!” the NFL pro added. “I love you girls!!”
Now the couple, who have been married since November 2011 better get ready for two more bundles of joy. And while Kim acknowledged that twins were a surprise, the couple is eagerly awaiting the babies’ arrival. “I can’t believe I am going to be a mom to six children,” she told E! “It’s going to be very busy but it’s a dream come true.”
But after discovering the news of pregnancy, Kim tells Kroy that this will be her last pregnancy. “This is it though, buddy,” she told her husband. “You better hope you get a little girl, because this is it.”
