Lady Gaga, recently, opened up about the rumors linking her to Bradley Cooper. Romantic rumors involving the female singer and Cooper started to swirl around after they starred together in “A Star Is Born.”

Lady Gaga is the cover girl for Elle magazine’s December 2019 issue. Inside the upcoming issue is an exclusive interview with Lady Gaga, where she shared a few things about her career and personal life.

Addressing the rumors linking her to Cooper, she described the press as “very silly,” before adding that it should have figured out everything people saw in them were orchestrated. Lady Gaga explained that, as a performer and actress, what she wanted was to make people believe that they were in love in the movie. She also said she wanted the crowd to feel that same love at the Oscars.

It can be recalled that Lady Gaga and Cooper created a buzz at this year’s Oscars as they performed their lovely rendition of “A Star Is Born” theme song, “Shallow.” After watching their steamy performance, fans were convinced that they were secretly in love. The rumors continued on in the following months, especially after Cooper confirmed his split from his longtime partner Irina Shayk.

According to Lady Gaga, people only saw love because she and Cooper were determined to make them see love. “We wanted it to go through the lens of that camera and to every television that it was being watched on,” she said. “And we worked hard on it, we worked for days. We mapped the whole thing out—it was orchestrated as a performance,” she added.

Lady Gaga also admitted that she and Cooper once talked about the romance rumors linking them to each other, and both of them found it flattering that they had actually succeeded in making people believe they were in love. “In truth, when we talked about it, we went, ‘Well, I guess we did a good job!’” said the singer.

This is not the first time that Lady Gaga denied the romance rumors. Previously, the singer also maintained in an interview that she and Bradley Cooper were just good friends and that nothing romantic was going on between them.
