Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper developed a close friendship when they starred in “A Star Is Born.” But there are rumors suggesting that their bond has left Jennifer Lawrence feeling jealous.

Earlier this year, a tabloid claimed that Lawrence felt as though Cooper was shutting her out in favor of Gaga. Lawrence and Cooper starred in a slew of films such as “Silver Linings Playbook,” “American Hustle,” “Serena” and “Joy.”

An unnamed source also told the tabloid that Lawrence felt sad because Cooper has moved on with Gaga. After all, Cooper’s friendship meant a lot to Lawrence.

However, rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop clarified that Lawrence was never jealous of Gaga and Cooper’s friendship. The “Hunger Games” star and Cooper are still good friends, and Gaga has never been an issue to the former co-stars.

Last year, rumors also swirled that Lawrence got upset with Cooper for casting Gaga in “A Star Is Born.” Another unnamed source said that Lawrence felt that she could have starred in the movie alongside her former leading man.

But the claims were once again proven to be incorrect. Lawrence previously revealed that Cooper screened “A Star Is Born” for her before its official release. The actress called the project phenomenal.

“He’s going to be one of the greats,” Lawrence said. “He’s going to be an amazing director.”

And during her appearance on the “The Late Show With David Letterman,” Lawrence admitted to not having a good singing voice. Gossip Cop noted that this proves that Lawrence couldn’t have believed that she was a right fit for Gaga’s role in “A Star Is Born.”

Meanwhile, Lawrence and Lady Gaga are once again being pitted against each other over an upcoming movie that Cooper will star in. The actor is likely to play the lead role in the “Nightmare Alley,” but his leading lady has not yet been cast.

A tabloid claimed that Gaga and Lawrence are both vying for the same role in “Nightmare Alley.” But Gossip Cop said that this couldn’t be the case because no other outlet has ever reported about the actresses' possible casting.
