Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lawrence are reportedly fighting over a role because they want to be Bradley Cooper’s co-star in the “Nightmare Alley” movie. After it was announced that the actor/producer is being considered for the remake of Guillermo del Toro’s 1947 movie, the actresses expressed their desire to be the female lead and are now vying to secure the post.

Cooper is likely to star as the film’s male lead, while they have yet to find the actress who can team up with him. Several stars are on the list for consideration, and it includes Lady Gaga and Lawrence, who are also the top choices as per the Globe magazine.

Lawrence and Gaga have worked with Copper for a film, and both displayed great chemistry with the actor. In fact, while working in the projects, the actresses were rumored to be dating Irina Shayk’s ex. Gaga recently worked with Cooper in “A Star Is Born,” and JLaw starred with him in four films, including “Silver Linings Playbook,” “American Hustle,” “Serena” and “Joy.”

“Once Bradley seals the deal, every actress in Hollywood will be fighting tooth and nail for the juicy role alongside him,” a source supposedly told Globe. “Lawrence and Gaga are the top two choices and will be campaigning the hardest.”

However, Gossip Cop dismissed the report and explained that if it were true that Gaga and Lawrence are trying their best to be cast as Cooper’s leading lady, various outlets would have reported this situation by now. The gossip police also noted that there is no publication in Hollywood that is mentioning about any casting for “Nightmare Alley,” so this is certainly a false narrative.

Gossip Cop also called Globe as an untrustworthy news outlet since it has a habit of publishing articles that have no real source and only churning out baseless stories. The police site was also able to talk to someone who knows Cooper and affirmed that the news is far from truth. The actor’s side reiterated that Lady Gaga and Lawrence are not fighting over a role to star with the actor and that this allegation is simply insane.
