'The Last' Naruto Movie Trailer With English Subtitles Released Ahead Of Dec. 6 Release Date [VIDEO]

"The Last: Naruto the Movie" hits theaters in Japan on Saturday, Dec. 6. With less than a week until the long awaited release, the movie trailer is finally available with English subtitles.

"The Last: Naruto the Movie" tells the events that occur after "Naruto Shippuden." The movie introduces an all-new character known as Toneri Otsutsuki. Toneri is of the Otsutsuki lineage, a direct descendent to the sage of Six Paths. The legendary Princess Kaguya Otsutsuki was the first person to ever consume the forbidden fruit from the Shinju tree of chakra. In "The Last: Naruto the Movie," Toneri Otsutsuki will threaten humanity with his ability to control the moon.

"The moon has begun moving closer to Earth! As it is, the moon will crumble and meteorites will rain down on Earth's surface," wrote Shonen Jump. "As the last days of Earth approach, Hanabi Hyūga is abducted by a mysterious man in Konoha, and Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Shikamaru, and Hinata set off on a rescue mission! Can Naruto and the others overcome this crisis?"
