VidaPrimo, the premier Latin music video network, has partnered with XUMO to launch the first Latin music video channel available on the platform. The new channel is now available direct to consumers through smart TV, mobile and other streaming device integrations. XUMO brings viewers more than 120 premium digital channels on its free platform and is available on several smart TV brands such as LG Electronics, Hisense, VIZIO, Magnavox, Panasonic, Philips and Sanyo as well as Roku, iOS and Android devices.

"Our partnership with XUMO is an important one for VidaPrimo," said Stephen Brooks, Executive Vice President and General Manager at VidaPrimo. "With millions of users across devices, XUMO expands our network footprint into the smart TV space, strengthening the connection from our artists to their fans in the living room.”

The VidaPrimo channel on XUMO (channel 288) will feature content from its library of over 8,000 music videos as well as its original programs. It is featured in XUMO’s new music vertical, and expands the company’s channel offerings to Spanish speaking audiences.“VidaPrimo’s addition to XUMO’s diverse channel lineup invites our viewers to access the largest Latin music destination and engaging content focused on Hispanic culture,” said Stefan Van Engen, Senior Vice President, Content Programming, and Acquisitions at XUMO. “We’re thrilled to work with VidaPrimo as they extend their services into an over-the-top environment and believe the partnership aligns with XUMO’s goal to offer premium entertainment to all music fans on the biggest screen in the home.”

XUMO also powers LG’s Channel Plus service, a 24-hour linear experience on LG Smart TVs that delivers both live and on-demand streaming content to users through an innovative interface that presents over-the-air broadcast channels alongside over the top-streaming-channels. “Channel Plus is an excellent way to enjoy music video content. Even in an on-demand world, most viewers still crave a lean-back experience in the home,” said Brooks. “Music videos are the perfect product for that experience, and XUMO executes it very well.”
