The Billboard Music Awards are coming up on Sunday, November 19, and will celebrate the biggest names in the music industry, including some of the top trending Latin artists, such as Bad Bunny, Karol G, and Eslabón Armado.

Taylor Swift leads the pack with 29 nominations. Morgan Wallen is the second most nominated artist with 20, followed by SZA with 17. Other top nominees include The Weeknd, Drake, Zach Bryan, Luke Combs, 21 Savage, Metro Boomin, Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé, Rema, Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma, Ariana Grande, David Guetta, Eslabon Armado, Karol G, NewJeans, and Selena Gomez.

Swift's nominations span a wide range of categories, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. It will be interesting to see if she can break her own record for the most Grammy wins by a female artist.

While top English musicians will be at the BBMAs, Latin artists will also be present and taking the stage by storm. Karol G is the Latina star of the evening with five nominations in categories as big as top Latin artist, top Latin female artist, top Latin touring artist, top Latin album, and top Latin song for "TQG" featuring Shakira. La Bichota is also ready to perform one of her most popular songs of the year, 'TQG', at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Following the Latino train is Peso Pluma with six nominations in top new artist, top Latin artist, top Latin male artist, top Latin album for Génesis, and top Latin song for both "Ella baila sola" with Eslabon Armado and "La Bebé" with Yng Lvcas. The Mexican singer will also be adding on to the celebration with a performance featuring the legendary Mike Tyson.

Puerto Rican trap artists Bad Bunny also has six nominations in top Billboard Global 200 Artist, top Billboard Global (Excl, U.S.) Artist, Top Latin Artist, Top Latin Male Artist, and Top Latin Album.

As one of the most watched award shows, it will be celebrating music in a brand new form. As stated by Billboard, " Dick Clark Productions and Billboard revealed plans for a reimagined "2023 Billboard Music Awards" (BBMAs) and first-of-its-kind collaboration with Spotify 'Fans First' to bring fans up close and personal with their favorite artists. The BBMAs will deliver a fresh award show concept that will entertain fans with hours of music and exclusive content, including winner celebrations, behind-the-scenes moments, and performances created by the world's biggest chart-topping artists."
