The Orlando Magic are hoping to follow up their last win over the Boston Celtics with another victory when they host the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Amway Center.

It was a huge win by the Magic over the rampaging Celtics, a win that snapped the Cs’ nine-game winning streak.

Paolo Banchero led the way for Orland with 23 points and five rebounds. Backing him up was Wendell Carter Jr. who finished with 21 points and 11 caroms.

“I know they came out and hit some really tough shots early on, but we stayed he course from there," Magic coach Jamahl Mosley said. “Then obviously we wanted to make sure it was a defensive effort down the stretch.”

The Magic are scoring 111.7 points per game, 26th in the NBA. They also have an offensive rating of 111.3, 25th in the league.

Defensively, Orlando is giving up 114.3 points per game, 17th in the league. They have an adjusted defensive rating of 114.5, 26th in the league.

However, the Pacers are expected to pick up from their previous win over the Chicago Bulls, 116-110, and avoid another loss.

In that victory, Myles Turner came out with a credible showing after pouring in 26 points and seven rebounds. Bennedict Mathurin came off the bench to drop 26 markers of his own along with seven boards.

“He [Matthurin] was the most animated I've seen him in the huddles all season,” coach Rick Carlisle said. “He was being encouraging, saying ‘We can do this, we can do this.’ He just brings an indomitable will to compete, to get the ball in the basket and to outwork you.”

The Pacers are 12th in the league in points scored per game with 115. They also own an offensive rating of 112.4, 22nd overall in the NBA.

Defensively, they are allowing the opposition to score 116.8 points per contest, 24th in the league. Their adjusted defensive rating is 114.2, 16th in the NBA.

The Magic are -4.5 favorites to prevail over the Pacers who are at +4.5. The Moneyline for this matchup is -190 for Orlando and +159 for Indiana.

The Magic and the Pacers get it on Wednesday at the Amway Center in Orlando with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. E.T. The game can be watched via NBA League Pass with live streaming also available thru fuboTV.
