Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has once again criticized a move made by the Trump administration, now blasting the decision to send more military aid to Ukraine.
Administration officials announced that they would be selling missile systems to European North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) member countries who will then transfer these resources to Ukraine on Monday.
"It's not just Ukraine; it's all foreign wars in general and a lot of foreign aid," Greene said in an interview with The New York Times.
Greene has repeatedly stated that continuing to invest taxpayer dollars into foreign wars that do not help the American people is against what she stands for, and does not benefit her constituents. She believes that actions like this one indicate a diversion from the America First approach President Donald Trump promised to adopt when he was campaigning.
"This is what we campaigned on. This is what I promised also to my district. This is what everybody voted for. And I believe we have to maintain the course."
The Georgia representative took to social media on Tuesday morning to criticize the House of Representatives for blocking her amendment to transfer munitions to Ukraine.
"The same Republicans in the Rules Committee, who blocked the release of the Epstein files last night, also blocked my amendment to transfer munitions to Ukraine - a NON-NATO member nation," she wrote to X (formerly Twitter).
"MAGA delivered the majority to Republicans and voted for no more U.S. involvement in foreign wars! But now the neocons and establishment Republicans have hijacked MAGA!!" she continued.

Greene is not the only Republican concerned about how taxpayers will bear the cost of the nation's involvement in foreign wars. However, the Trump administration has attempted to assuage these concerns by arguing that NATO member countries will be the ones paying for the shipment of surface-to-air Patriot missile systems and batteries.
Greene continues to believe that the move will still cost the average American somehow.
"Without a shadow of a doubt, our tax dollars are being used," the Georgia Rep said.
"I said it on every rally stage: 'No more money to Ukraine. We want peace.' We just want peace for those people," she added.
