Marjorie Taylor Greene urged House Republicans to shift their focus from investigating Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime performance to addressing health insurance prices, writing on X that they "should come up with a healthcare plan that reduces the outrageous costs of health insurance instead."

Her comment appeared as the caption to a Polymarket graphic that read: "BREAKING: House Republicans announce investigation into Bad Bunny's Super Bowl performance, alleging the Spanish lyrics were 'inappropriate' for television." The graphic circulated widely on social media but was not itself an official congressional announcement.

Greene's post, however, comes as several Republican lawmakers have publicly criticized the halftime show and called for federal scrutiny of the broadcast. Some members said they planned to contact or work with the Federal Communications Commission regarding the performance, arguing that translated lyrics and themes were not appropriate for network television.

Rep. Randy Fine of Florida was one of the show's most vocal detractors, describing it as "illegal," calling for fines and broadcast license reviews and even suggesting that those who "liked Bad Bunny's filth" should be deported:

Rep. Andy Ogles of Tennessee and Rep. Mark Alford of Missouri have also said they want congressional review of the broadcast and the entities that aired it. Other critics have characterized the objections as censorship and political messaging tied to cultural issues.

In recent weeks, Greene has also publicly criticized other priorities associated with the Trump administration and its allies. She has accused President Donald Trump of resisting the release of additional Epstein case files and said in interviews that decisions around the matter were being controlled at the top of the administration.

She has also said in multiple interviews that the MAGA movement has strayed from its promises to supporters and accused party leadership of favoring major donors and foreign policy priorities over rank-and-file voters.
