Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene warned that "Americans don't want to go to war with Iran" after a new report claimed that a "major" armed conflict nears due to lack of substantial progress in negotiations between the countries.
In a social media publication, Greene said people "want to be able to afford their lives and get ahead," to "be happy and enjoy life" and for "their government to put elite pedos in jail," in reference to the Epstein files.
"And they voted for NO MORE FOREIGN WARS AND NO MORE REGIME CHANGE," she added.
Greene was responding to a publication detailing that "Trump's armada for Middle East now includes two aircraft carriers, a dozen warships, hundreds of jets, and advanced air defenses — with more forces still en route."

They want to be able to afford their lives and get ahead.
They want to be happy and enjoy life.
They want their government to put elite pedos in jail.
And they voted for NO MORE FOREIGN WARS AND NO MORE REGIME CHANGE. https://t.co/0lTRXJVXBo
"Over 150 U.S. military cargo flights have delivered weapons to the Middle East, and in the last 24 hours alone, 50 more fighter jets headed to the region," the publication added, citing a story by Axios.
The article claims that the Trump administration is close to a major war with Iran and it could begin "very soon." It adds that the campaign would be "much broader in scope" than the 12-day war led by Israel in June last year and ended after the U.S. struck Tehran's nuclear facilities.
The claim comes after a new round of negotiations took place between the countries in Geneva on Tuesday. Both sides said the talks "made progress" but U.S. officials are not optimistic about closing the remaining gaps.
Vice President JD Vance said that talks "went well" in some ways but "in other ways it was very clear that the president has set some red lines that the Iranians are not yet willing to actually acknowledge and work through." He added that while Trump wants a deal, he can also conclude that diplomacy has "reached its natural end."
Elsewhere, The Wall Street Journal noted that Iran is also preparing for war in case talks fail by deploying forces, dispersing decision-makers and fortifying infrastructure.
On Tuesday, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei threatened the U.S. in a series of social media posts, saying that the ". The strongest military force in the world may at times be struck so hard that it cannot get up again."
Another publication addresses the armada that is either on its way or in the region, including two aircraft carriers. "The Americans constantly say that they've sent a warship toward Iran. Of course, a warship is a dangerous piece of military hardware. However, more dangerous than that warship is the weapon that can send that warship to the bottom of the sea," Khamenei said about them.
