What would happen if we brought a Bugatti Veyron Pur Blanc and a McLaren P1 out to drag race on a deserted road in the middle of the desert? It sounds like the typical hypothetical car talk at the bar, but it actually happened and we have it on video!
Words can hardly describe the hypercar battle. In fact, we could only compare the epic match up with the likes of Godzilla vs. King Kong, Thor vs. The Hulk, or Liger vs. Tigon. The video was captured by Instagram user a1carvideos during the outrageous Gold Rush Rally.
So who won the race? Well, it's hard to tell, but the $1.8 million McLaren P1 hybrid supercar definitely got the $2.5 million Bugatti at the launch and managed to pull by three car lengths before the massive quad-turbos in the Veyron kicked in to close the gap. Ultimately, the McLaren P1 boasts a top speed of approximately 220 mph. The Bugatti Veyron Pur Blanc, on the other hand, is capable of exceeding 260 mph.
