Meghan Markle Dubbed 'Princess of Woke,' Rubbing the British the Wrong Way?

Instead of gaining the support of the British, Meghan Markle’s decision to sue a local newspaper for the unauthorized publication of her handwritten letter to her dad, the former “Suits” actress is said to have annoyed many. Prince Harry stepping up for his wife also aggravated the situation.

According to Spectator US, the Duchess of Sussex is now called the “Princess of Woke” as a form of criticism. She is said to be rubbing people the wrong way ad some believe she should just go back to the United States.

In a cover piece for the said magazine,e Rod Liddle wrote that Meghan Markle is a gift of America to Britain that should just be returned. The writer claimed that the British people have had enough of the Duchess. He wrote that just because Meghan Markle is black, she was put into a pedestal by liberals. However, the truth is that the British do not even care about her color. Instead, they hate the fact that she brought into their turf “a garbage truck full of the most emetic US wokeness,” that she deposited in the British people’s front lawn.

Markle is also described as a hypocrite for lecturing the Brits about poverty because of her lavish lifestyle. Her engagement ring costing almost $370,000 was cited as evidence. How much the refurbishment of her house cost was also brought in as a evidence of her hypocrisy.

How she keeps urging people to contribute to the alleviation or reversion of the climate change also does not sit well for the writer. He said that her countless trips in a private jet showed her real colors. What annoyed the British is that when she was called out on the incident, her reaction was just to “rise above it."

The writer discussed many ore instances that Meghan Markle called attention to herself and created all sorts of drama, which was deemed better suited in America.
