The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child, Archie Mountbatten Windsor on May 6, 2019. And now they are reportedly planning to welcome a second child but unlike the last time, when Archie was born in London, Meghan wants to deliver her second child in Los Angeles to counter the “loneliness” she felt during her first delivery.

“Meghan already told pals that when she comes to deliver her next baby – she would like to do it in LA where she was born and bred. She said that being pregnant in the UK without any of her family and friends felt incredibly lonely and uncomfortable for her. So she's keen to change that the second time around and would like to buck tradition to ensure she's happy – although that may ruffle feathers along the way,” a source told Ok! magazine.

Such rumours and claims have been flowing in since bookies slashed the odds of the couple announcing the second pregnancy in 2020, including leading bookmaker, Coral. Many have claimed that maybe the announcement will be made as early as February.

“Harry and Meghan have made no secret of their desire to have another child and we make next year the hot favourite for the year that it is born and that means that we make next year the odds on favourite for the year that their next baby arrives,” said Coral's Harry Aitkenhead.

Currently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are on their six-week break away from royal duties in order to get some much-needed time away as a family, Reportedly, the royal couple will be spending the American holiday of Thanksgiving as well as Christmas with Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland in Los Angeles.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s decision to take time off from the royal duties come in the wake of the highly controversial documentary “Harry and Meghan: An African Journey”, wherein the couple shared the struggles of being a royal and the constant public scrutiny.
