Miley Cyrus might have moved on and found love in the arms of Cody Simpson. But she’s yet to be completely done with her somewhat “evil” past — Liam Hemsworth.

Fans who hopped on Cyrus’s Instagram live on Sunday night saw the singer dole out some solid relationship advice. And she also threw an evident yet low-key shade at ex Hemsworth amid being all praises for current beau Simpson, who she reportedly calls the only good man she has ever met.

Cyrus was joined by Simpson on the IG live, and the two seemed very much in love. As viewers and their questions started to pour in, Cyrus made a very interesting revelation on how women must wait it out for the good guy.

“There are good men out there, guys, don’t give up,” Cyrus said in the live chat. “You don’t have to be gay. There are good people with d***s out there, you’ve just got to find them. You’ve got to find a d**k that’s not a d**k, you know? I always thought I had to be gay because I thought all guys were evil, but it’s not true. There are good people out there that just happen to have d***s. I’ve only ever met one, and he’s on this Live,” she added.

But the shade supposedly directed at her former lover kinda backfired — and unexpectedly with regard to a different issue. Her comment, which made a mention of the queer community, didn’t sit well with many.

“Miley, this is so not it,” said Rosie Percy on Twitter. “Women don’t ‘have to be gay’ because they ‘can’t find a good person with a d**ck’. Don’t use the queer community as a stop-gap because you couldn’t find a boyfriend. People aren’t queer because they ‘gave up’ on men. This is so insulting,” she added.

“Miley cyrus, I am so disappointed in you,” said Ciana, another Twitter user. “Take your biphobic, homophobic self elsewhere,” she added.

In an attempt to put further trolls and hate at rest, Cyrus took to Twitter and decided to clarify the statement. “I was talking s**t about s***y guys, but let me be clear: YOU don’t CHOOSE your sexuality. You are born as you are. It has always been my priority to protect the LGBTQ community I am a part of. Happy Monday!” she wrote.
