Naya Rivera, who plays Santana López on the series "Glee," will be returning for the show's final season. "There is no truth to the rumor Naya has been fired from the show," the Fox Network noted in a statement released to The Associated Press Saturday night, which concluded, "She remains under contract to 'Glee.'" Rumors had been swirling that the fiesty Latina had been fired from the show following an altercation with co-star Lea Michele on set.

Lea Michele has remained mute on the rumors of a riff between her and Nay Rivera. Prior to her arrival at the "Legendz of Oz: Dorothy's Return" premiere, a publicist for the actress said that she would not be commenting on the situation with Rivera. However, she did reveal that "Glee" had its wrap party on Friday night to celebrate the end of filming for their fifth season. The final episode of the season will premiere on May 20th, bringing an end to "Glee's" penultimate season.

Naya Rivera's team refuted the rumors last week also. “Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from ‘Glee’ are absolutely untrue. End of story.” The rumors emerged in mid-April that Lea Michele and Naya Rivera had had a fight on set because Lea Michele was aparently acting like a diva. When it surfaced that Rivera would not be in the season finale, rumors began swirling that she had in fact been "written out" of the series.
