A new leaked gameplay video has shown off a different and dark form for the Mewtwo fighter in "Pokken Tournament." The video first appeared on NicoNico (via NeoGAF) and unveils "Dark Mewtwo" as a new boss character for the arcade version Bandai Namco's fighter.
As of now it is unknown if the “Dark Mewtwo” will be a playable character for “Pokken Tournament” or will appear on the Wii U version of the game. Nintendo nor The Pokémon Company has announced anything new.
According to IGN this new form of the psychic Pokémon may appear in future games, namely the heavily-rumored “Pokémon Z” title. Mewtwo already has an X and Y Mega Evolution, so some have speculated this new dark form could be Mewtwo Z.
The new “Dark Mewtwo” form is ultimately beaten by Gengar but the action is still worth the watch. Check out the fight in the video below:
