People will hold varying opinions when it comes to individuals getting possessed by demons. Most would normally see this happen in the movies but two priests alleged that they had dealt with one back in 1980.
The priests, whose identities were not revealed, claim that they dealt with a possessed middle-aged woman at that time. They shared the experience where the woman reportedly ended up levitating following an exorcism, so high that the woman almost smashed through the roof of the chapel. They narrated the ordeal on the Ashley Flowers' Supernatural podcast.
One of the priests tried to rid the demon of the possessed woman at that time. Ashley goes on to say that the woman was speaking in Latin and Spanish, languages she does not speak.
From there, the woman allegedly started trashing and fighting with unbelievable strength. The struggle went on for two hours with the priests trying to hold down Julia.
Father Jacques commanded the "demon" tell him their name and the day and hour of their departure.
It was at this point that things took a turn. Julia lifts from her chair and starts floating in mid-air, allegedly levitating. She was so high that she could have gone through the ceiling per their recount.
Aside from that, there was a sudden temperature change. From a freezing point, everything just turned to a boiling point when Julia started to scream and writhe in pain. Growls were heard but the other people in the area could not see anything.
After a climactic moment, everything just stopped. At least three medical personnel believe that Julia truly had a demon inside of her. That included psychiatrist Dr. Richard Gallagher who worked with the Catholic Church to monitor the mental health of people seeking exorcisms.
Gallagher got the chance to meet Julia who alleged she was the Queen of Satanism.
