When Freeform's "Pretty Little Liars" returns for its seventh season, the race is on to save Hanna (Ashley Benson). If you recall in the season six finale, "Hush... Hush, Sweet Liars," Uber A kidnapped Hanna and the seventh season trailer is all about the missing Liar and the group's effort to find her.

The promo trailer opens with the ladies digging a hole in the woods late at night and we hear Aria (Lucy Hale) ask, "How could we let this happen?" Meanwhile, Emily (Shay Mitchell) is crying and saying "I don't know if I can live with this." Then viewers see a picture of Hanna with the caption "#SaveHanna."

There are quick glimpses of a lot of action and the trailer ends with Spencer (Troian Bellisario) stopping her shoveling to exclaim, "When it ends like this, it's called murder."

Additionally, Rosewood Police Department has found a dreamy new detective. Nicholas Gonzalez has booked a major recurring role on the seventh season of Freeform's "Pretty Little Liars." Accorting to an EW report, he will play Vic Furey, a sexy, witty, straight-talker detective who has come to Rosewood to oversee the police department's open homicides.

The seventh season will also see the main characters return, with Bellisario, Benson, Hale and Mitchell confirming to reprise their roles as Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Aria Montgomery and Emily Fields, respectively. Janel Parrish also confirmed that she will be reprising her role as Mona Vanderwaal.

Andrea Parker will also return to the show as Mary Drake, Jessica DiLaurentis' identical twin sister and biological mother to Charlotte DiLaurentis. The actress has picked up the role as a series regular.

The new season will consist of 20 episodes and will kick off with the supersized premiere Tuesday, June 21 at 8 p.m. EST on Freeform.
