Royal followers are praising Prince William and Kate Middleton for mentioning Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their recent tweet amid their rumored rift. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also mentioned the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in a speech they delivered earlier that day.

On Tuesday, Prince William and Kate Middleton attended an event by the Crisis Volunteer, “Shout.” The event intended to pay tribute to volunteers of the charity, which was launched in May.

Volunteers of the text messaging crisis line have engaged in 145,000 text conversations with people in crisis since May, equivalent to about six million messages since the charity’s launch. The goal of the charity is to help callers deal with various issues, including bullying, suicide, and depression.

On Nov. 12, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the “Shout” event at the Troubadour White City Theater and both earned praises from fans who were present at the gathering. Royal followers of the couple described them as “classy,” lauding them for including Prince Harry Meghan in their speech and giving them credits for their valuable contributions to the charity.

“Catherine and I, and Harry and Meghan couldn’t be more proud of what @GiveUsAShout has accomplished,” Prince William said. “We’re hugely proud and hugely grateful to all of you for being part of this,” he added.

After earning the respect of royal followers at the event, Prince William and Kate Middleton caught the attention of their eagle-eyed social media followers later that day as Kensington Palace tweeted the part of Prince William’s speech where he mentioned the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Followers particularly commended the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for being classy and civil when it comes to handling their personal issues with Prince Harry and Meghan. Despite the rumored rift between the Cambridges and the Sussexes, many found it commendable that Prince William and Kate Middleton still took the time to give credits to Prince Harry and his wife and include photos of them in their tweet.

“Classy Duke,” one fan noted. “I’m happy that William included Harry and Meghan in this. Prince William, thank you for including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” another fan tweeted.
