SEATTLE - Take a moment and breathe. Another exciting day in the UEFA Champions League finishes with eleven goals scored in just two matches. PSG and Borussia Dortmund were able to overcome their first-leg deficits and completed a comeback to seal a place in the semifinals.

Here's a look at some of the key stats of the first two Champions League quarterfinal ties.

PSG 4-1 Barcelona (PSG advances 5-4 on agg.)

- PSG: advances to its fourth-ever European Cup semifinal; lost two of its previous three appearances in the SF round (last in 2020-21 vs Man City).

- PSG: third time eliminating Barcelona in the UCL, most by any team in the history of the competition (QF - 1994-95, R16 - 2020-21).

- PSG: seeks to be the second-ever French team to win the UEFA Champions League; Marseille is the only Ligue 1 team to have done so (1993).

- Kylian Mbappé (PSG): five career goals vs Barcelona in UCL, his most vs any team in the competition. Only Thomas Müller (8) has more against Barcelona in UCL history.

- Marquinhos, Manuel Ugarte, Keylor Navas and Lucas Beraldo are the Latinos to be part of PSG's squad this year. Club captain Marquinhos was the only one to play in both legs vs Barcelona.

- Barcelona: has not reached the UCL semifinals since 2018-19 (lost to Liverpool), its longest streak without a semifinal in the Champions League era (since 1992-93).

- Raphinha (BAR): scored three of Barcelona's four goals vs PSG in the two-legged tie; first Barcelona player to score three goals in a single UCL QF tie since Neymar in 2014-15.

- Ronald Araújo (BAR): sent off in the 29th minute; fourth red card in his professional career and third with Barcelona.

Borussia Dortmund 4-2 Atlético Madrid (Borussia Dortmund advances 5-4 on agg.)

- Dortmund: first UCL semifinal appearance since 2012-13 when they reached he final

- Dortmund: unbeaten in their last 10 UCL home games (6-0-4), a new club record in the competition.

- Atlético Madrid: eliminated in the QF for a third straight time; haven't reached the SF since 2016-17

- Diego Simeone (ATM): was seeking his fourth SF appearance (2013-14, 2015-16, 2016-17); only Alex Ferguson has reached more UCL semifinals with the same team (7 with Man United).

- Ángel Correa (ATM): scored his 10th goal of the season vs Dortmund; snaps streak of 35 games without a loss when scoring for Atlético Madrid (was 30-0-5 W-L-D in that span).

- Atlético Madrid was the team with the most players of Latin American descent in the quarterfinals (6); three of the goals scored by the team vs Borussia Dortmund came from Latino players (Rodrigo de Paul, Samuel Lino and Ángel Correa).
