A medical supply company in Maine revealed that it threw out its products that were manufactured during President Donald Trump’s visit to its headquarters last week.
Puritan Medical Products had limited its production to limited machines for a 15-minute demonstration. The company said that it has decided beforehand that the products and supplies produced during this period will be discarded, considering the number of people that will be visiting the facility, including medical personnel and government officials and security.
"Production was limited on selected machines to a reduced 15-minute demonstration period during which the President was actively touring our manufacturing floor," the company said in a statement posted on the social media platform, Twitter.

Puritan mentioned in their tweet that they had shifted Friday’s schedule to be completed over the weekend so that there is no production loss due to President Trump’s visit.
Americans have reacted differently to the statement posted by Puritan.
People are suggesting that Trump would not have learned anything out of it and it was just another photo-op for him.
Crazy these steps had to even be taken, just for them to act like they care. Ask him what he learned, bet nothing. It was pointless waste for a photo op, again.

Some pointed out the fact that Americans may have needed the discarded swabs.
They say you tossed swabs after trump left, hoping that’s not true. Someone needs those. He is an irresponsible oaf. Pls don’t listen to him.

While some have even suggested that the company should have told Trump that the tour is not allowed if he doesn’t wear a mask.
Should of told him, No Mask, No tour ???

Trump did not follow his administration’s social distancing rules during his visit to Puritan’s headquarters. At one point, he stopped for a photograph with one of the employees and both of them were not wearing a mask.
Trump further touted that his administration has saved thousands of lives by its quick and efficient handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and also appreciated the efforts of the team to promote the expansion of American manufacturing companies.
