After the Epstein scandal, Queen Elizabeth II has allowed Prince Andrew to quit as a royal. According to palace source, this decisive step is a warning to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle not to do “their own thing.”

Maintaining the institution of the monarchy is the Queen’s priority. That is why she took the decisive step of allowing Prince Andrew, who is said to be her favorite son, to step down from being a royal. According to a palace insider, this step should serve as a warning to the younger royals because the monarch will not tolerate anyone causing problems for the royal family, Express reported.

According to the source, the Queen didn’t let her personal feelings to get in the way of her royal duties. She allowed Prince Andrew to step down because the scandal he was involved in was threatening the monarchy. The insider also added that the step should be seen as a warning to Prince Harry and Markle because she won’t tolerate it if they are “stepping out of line.”

The Queen is particularly not happy about the TV interview, and the way Prince Harry and Markle have been “doing their own thing” in the past month. She does not want the couple to stray from the way things are being done by the other members of the royal family.

“ The Sussexes need to take heed, keep their heads down, do a programme of British engagements up and down the country and most of all do as they’re told,” the insider said.

Last month, the Queen appears to have made her displeasure clear when she removed the photo frame of Prince Harry and Markle from Buckingham Palace, Page Six reported. The photo frame was previously in a prominent position in the room where the monarch generally meets with guests.
