“Rick and Morty” is back in the U.S. TV and fans in the U.K. will be happy to know that they will also see the favorite Adult Swim animation sooner than initially announced. Initially, the show was scheduled to air on January 2020 but this was changed and the new release date was moved to Nov. 20 on E4 and All 4 channels.

This means that the show is coming in just eight days instead of a month and a half. It was Channel 4’s director of programs, Ian Katz, who confirmed the news today.

“When we announced we would be airing Rick and Morty Series 4 on free to air TV in January we thought fans would be delighted,” Katz said via press release. “Instead they told us – in their droves – that it wasn’t nearly soon enough, so we’ve listened and brought forward the UK premiere to November 20th on E4 and All 4.”

She went on to say that “Rick and Morty” season 4 will offer a total of 10 episodes that will be divided into two parts where the first five episodes will air this year and the next five will arrive in early 2020 after a short midseason break.

The fourth season of “Rick and Morty” was released on Nov. 10 at 11:30 p.m. in the U.S. and it was well-received since the fans have been waiting for two years for it to return. The series opened with the “Edge of ToMorty: Rick Die Rickpeat” episode and it is obvious that the title was a spoof of the 2014 hit movie called “Edge Of Tomorrow: Live, Die, Repeat.”

The premiere’s story concept is also like a spoof of the Tom Cruise film where Rick and Morty found a gadget that let them see their future including their deaths. After seeing his fate, Morty was determined to change what the future holds for him.

The result was chaotic but the first episode of “Rick and Morty” season 4 really sent a strong message of living life to the fullest. In a funny way, it tells the viewers to appreciate their lives and enjoy as much as they can.

In any case, according to Express, the next episode is called “The Old Man and the Seat” and it will feature the voice of New Zealand-based actor and director Taika Waititi. Based on the promo teaser, he will be Glootie, a naughty alien who messes up with Morty and his dad Jerry Smith. This episode is arriving on Nov. 17.
