Maluma and Ricky Martin not only have a hot new song in radio rotation but a rumored romantic fling. It is being reported that the Colombian singer has denied romantic involvement with the fellow singer.

According to People En Espanol, Maluma is ready to put the rumors to rest. While the duo released the party track "Vente Pa'Ca" last month, he is very confused as to how rumors of romantic involvement between the two surfaced.

The Colombian singer recently spoke with Miami radio station "El vacilon de la Gatita", and denied any romantic involvement with the Puerto Rican singer.

“I am not gay; I don’t have a relationship with Ricky Martin,” Maluma told the radio station, according to the publication. “I love women.”

Although he denied a relationship, Maluma did say that she has great respect for the LGBT community but that people should be more focused on his music-not who is dating.

“People should focus on my foundation, my projects and everything positive and important that I am doing in Latin America and the around the world,” the singer told the site.

The rumor is pretty funny to Martin who is currently in a high-profile relationship with Swedish artist jwan Yosef. When asked in a recent interview on Nuevo Zol 106.7 FM the singer chuckled.

“That topic makes me laugh,” he said. “It’s that one percent of people that transmit bad energy and that threaten your privacy. Simply it was a desire from the gossips to make news from something that is a lie. Like if being gay was a sin.”

While Martin enjoyed working with Maluma he insists that there is nothing more to there business relationship.

“He is a young talent, enjoying his professional success,” he said. “I felt very comfortable taping the music video with him.”
