"We need to be brave because after 32 years of being in Televisa, we need to continue and find other things to do, which cost me a veto," Espejel told El Universal. Even though the Spanish-language powerhouse closed the doors on him, he does not hold any resentment towards the network that made him famous. "I only have words of gratitude for the company, but I think that blackmailing needs to stop so we can do other things." For Sanchez, this marks her first project in Spanish, "I am here because I am sure that this will be good. I am very honest with myself, there are times I do crap, which I have done and I recognize it, but this series is actually good."

The series that consists of 13 episodes was filmed in Colombia over two years ago. Since then, Roselyn stars in the hit Lifetime series "Devious Maids" which is set to come back to television this spring. "We had a little problem because I this show couldn't air at the same time as 'Devious Maids'," she said. The Puerto Rican beauty, who was in Mexico for the premiere of the sitcom also shares the screen with Carmen Aub, Kathia Del Pino, Germán Quintero and Christián Duque.
