After entertaining many families for over five decades, "Sabado Gigante" ---the longest-running variety show in history, will air its last episode on September 19th. The heartbreaking news was announced by Univision in April, stating that after 53 years on air, the show will be cancelled. Though TV host Don Francisco has stated that this only marks the beginning of a new career move, we can't help but feel sad. What's there to do on Saturday nights from 8p.m. to 11p.m.?

While we think of ideas! How about we let you in on all the scoop of the variety show's last episode?

It's a no-brainer that "Sabado Gigante" has opened the doors to many of our favorite artists today, including Daddy Yankee, who owes a lot to the Chilean television personality. "Don Francisco was the first person who gave me a shot on national television. I’ll always be indebted to him. His contribution to -- and influence in -- the Latino community has no limit. He is an example and a true leader," he said to Billboard.

That's why El Cangri, and other celebrities, will form part of the grand finale called "Sabado Gigante: Hasta Siempre." Some artists confirmed to either perform, make an appearance or present at the show include Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Prince Royce, Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan, Espinoza Paz, Luis Fonsi, Paulina Rubio, Intocable and Laura Pausini.

We're sad, we're happy, we're a roller coaster of emotions right about now. "Sabado Gigante's" last show will air Sat. September 19th via Univision. Sniff, Sniff.
