‪Despite all the allegations against Woody Allen, a sad truth is that he will probably never be canceled out in Hollywood. Some analysts strongly believed that Woody will continue to make money out of Hollywood because of his films.

It can be remembered that the director’s daughter, Dylan Farrow made some serious molestation allegations against him in 2018. Even though the accusations made had an immediate impact, analysts claimed that Allen would never really lose his spot in Hollywood, no matter how much the #MeToo movement intensifies.

Several actors and actresses made their personal vows to never work with the director anymore. Notable are Elle Fanning, Rebecca Hall, and Timothee Chalamet, who were on his project “A Rainy Day in New York.” This film was supposed to be distributed by Amazon but was canceled after the allegations emerged.

Regardless of what Amazon did however, the movie proceeded to make great strides in the movie scene and allowed Allen to earn greatly. Just earlier this month, the film was given a coveted opening slot at France’s Deauville American Film Festival. It is now being played in different parts of Europe and Mexico. This saddens some analysts, Page Six reports.

“#MeToo or no #MeToo, Woody will always be able to get Euro money for his films,” one indie distributor shared to The Post.

“Trust me,” a major casting agent said of the issue. “If he has another hit or Oscar noms, they’ll change their tune fast.”

A source from Sony Classics echoed the same sentiments. “[Make] another ‘Midnight in Paris,’ ” said the source.” Then all will be forgiven. Or a lot, anyway. “Ironically, Sony Classics had released a lot of the director’s films in the United States.

Allen is quite sure the movie will reach the United States, no matter the backlash to his person and the movie. “If people enjoy the movie, it will be released in the United States,” he recently shared to France 24, a French TV network.
