Salma Hayek has been making the press rounds promoting her upcoming comedy "Grown Ups 2." So far, the Mexican actress has caused a ruckus while trying to teach Spanish to co-stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James on the morning show "Despierta America" and has been heavily criticized by Mexican nationalists for not singing the Mexican National Anthem in favor of the U.S.A. Anthem.
Now, Hayek weighed in on Angelina Jolie's double mastectomy surgery and said that she wouldn't have jumped the gun and had "more faith" if she was in her shoes.

“To save myself, of course!” Salma replied to "El Gordo y la Flaca" reporter after being asked if she would have a mestectomy.
“I don’t know if I would have done the same [as Jolie] so quickly, perhaps I would have had more faith, thought more positively that nothing was going to happen to me. But you know, I don’t know, it’s not fair to put yourself in that situation when you haven’t been in it. I respect her decision a lot, of course. Plus, she looks great.”

In February 2013, Angelina Jolie revealed she underwent a preventative double mastectomy because she carries a "faulty" gene, BRCA1, which sharply increase the risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer. Angeline's mother battled with cancer for almost a decade which ultimately took her life away.
To be fair, she was answering a question that the reporter asked her and is not going around bashing Jolie for her decision.
