New evidence has proven that Sarah Ferguson has links to sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein. Last month, Fergie’s ex-husband, Prince Andrew, also faced backlash for his close friendship with the pedophile.

The connection between Jeffrey Epstein and the royal family is now facing fresh scrutiny after a message to the billionaire from Fergie was unearthed this week. A new piece of evidence seized from his Florida home shows how Fergie personally phoned up the hedge fund manager sometime in 2005.

In a notepad discovered by the police before Epstein’s conviction in 2008, the police found that Fergie had left her mobile number for Epstein to call her back. That time, Epstein was convicted of procuring a minor for prostitution. An employee of Fergie allegedly penned an important message for Epstein on Jan. 25, 2005, asking the sex abuser to call the Duchess of York back.

“HRH Duchess of York Sarah… is expecting your call,” the note read, providing the mobile number of the duchess. Another evidence taken from Epstein’s home revealed that the criminal had a “little black book,” where he held 18 numbers for Fergie, as well as her email address.

Back in 2011, Sarah Ferguson claimed that she had received £15,000 from Epstein to help clear some of her debts. She also defended Prince Andrew and dragged him further into the controversy, saying that it was the Duke of York who sorted out her debts.

Later on, however, she issued some clarification and said that it was she who had dealt directly with Epstein. She also denied that Prince Andrew or his staff had ever negotiated the payment on her behalf.

“I personally, on behalf of myself, deeply regret that Jeffrey Epstein became involved in any way with me,” she said in a statement. “I abhor pedophilia and any sexual abuse of children and know that this was a gigantic error of judgment on my behalf,” she added. She also promised to repay the money and to have nothing to do with Epstein ever again.

In July, Prince Andrew faced backlash for keeping his friendship with Epstein despite his reputation. After serving 18 months in jail, Epstein was photographed strolling through Central Park with Prince Andrew, causing embarrassment to the royal family.
