A non-lethal accident caused the Garden State Parkway in New Jersey to be doused with 6,000 gallons of Scotch whisky.

The New York Daily News reported Wednesday that a tanker carrying the alcoholic beverage clipped a telephone pole as it made its way down the parkway late Tuesday. Chief Dan Gregan of the Fords Fire Co. said the truck hit a parked Cadillac and ignited following the initial hit.

It is unclear whether it was the diesel fuel or the scotch that caused the fire, the Washington Post reported. The driver sustained minor injuries and the neighborhood surrounding the crash is not believed to be in danger. It is not clear how much whisky was lost nor what brand it was.

The truck is owned by B-Line Trucking in Newark, Metro News reported. The neighborhood in which the truck was passing through is a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood. It is not clear where the driver was headed.
