
Day four of Shark Week 2013 begins today at 9am ET/PT. Tune into the Discovery Channel for another day filled with programs dedicated to the animal we love to fear, the shark. Each day Discovery Channel will run a marathon of past Shark Week specials before premiering new episodes at 9pm. Check out what Discovery Channel has planned for today, Wednesday August 7,3013:
9am "Sharks in a Desert Sea." Scientists Rocky Strong and Rocio Lozano swim with sharks in the waters off the coast of Mexico. These two men risk it all to help an animal placed in danger by humans.
10am "Bull Shark: World's Deadliest Shark." The Bull Shark is one of the most aggressive creatures on the planet. Its' body is filled with an abundant level of testosterone. Zoologist Nigel Marven heads to the Bahamas to learn more about this dangerous shark.
11am "Anatomy of a Shark Bite." Join Dr Erich Ritter as he reexamines his own shark attack to learn why he fell victim to a shark.
12pm "Top Five Eaten Alive." Discovery Channel says dozens of people are "eaten alive by sharks" each year." Hear from attack survivors about what they experienced inside the jaws of a shark.
1pm "Shark After Dark LIVE." A repeat from the previous night, host Josh Wolf is joined by "Sharknado" star Tara Reid and celebrity guest Mark Cuban.
2pm "Day of the Shark." This one-hour special examines why sharks attack at certain hours of the day. The special also lets people know what rules they should follow to avoid shark encounters.
3pm "Day of the Shark II." This sequel seeks to examine why sharks attack at specific times of the day. Watch as the science behind an attack is brought to life.
4pm "Day of the Shark III." Hear from six shark attack survivors as they tell viewers about their "day of the shark."
5pm "Shark City." Actor Andy Samberg takes viewers on a tour of an under water city, home to a wide variety of sharks. Watch as they interact in what DC calls a "shark eat shark world."
6pm "Return of Jaws." It has been 80-years since a shark attacked a human in Massachusetts. Learn how close Great White sharks get to the shore of Cop Cod when hunting. Are humans in danger?
7pm "I Escaped JAWS." Listen to the stories of six shark attack survivors. What was their brush with JAWS like?
8pm "Voodoo Sharks: Sharktweeto." Check out a rebroadcast of "Voodoo Sharks" with special bonus clips and live tweets from fans.
9pm "Top Ten Sharkdown." Discovery Channel says this all new special will rewrite "and update the international shark attack files for the 21st century, to take a close look at the sharks you don't want to meet this summer -- and which ones you're likely to."
