Pop sensation Rihanna is going through a stressful, scary time. It is being reported that Shirlene Quigley, Rihanna and Beyonce’s backup dancer has been reported missing.

According NBC New York, the search is on for celebrity backup dancer Shirlene Quigley, 28, who has performed with Beyonce, Rihanna and countless others is missing.

The site reports that the 28-year-old was last seen getting on a bus at Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York at around 1 a.m. on Sunday. Quigley, who lives alone in North Bergen teaches dance at Peridance Capezio Center and Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan which explains her New York City sighting.

Her father, who lives in California, grew concerned when he didn’t get his normal call from Quigley at around 6p.m.

"I just want her to come home, or if someone has her to let her be," the father said. "She's everything to me. She's why I live.”

Police are currently investigating the disappearance of the backup dancer, while celebrities such as Rihanna and Missy Elliot are pleading with the public to call the police if they have any information.

The “Love On the Brain” singer took to Instagram to share her despair about the unsettling news.

"This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!!" the singer wrote on social media Monday evening. "My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her!" If anyone has seen or has any information on @shirlenequigley’s whereabouts PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department 201 392 2100!!!!!!

Missy Elliott also took the time to post a collage of Quigley on her Instagram page, to spread the word and plead with the public.

Police say that Quigley’s phone was found at a bridal store in Chelsea; her father says that she could’ve been there to pick up something for a show.

The site also reports that Quigley’s landlord say her leave her New Jersey home Saturday afternoon and later called a friend to say that she did not seem well.
