“Sweet Tooth” undoubtedly hit it big with viewers, a reason why a second season may happen. The only problem is that nothing has been made official, meaning it would be best for fans to sit back and wait.

Taken from the DC/Vertigo comic of the same name, “Sweet Tooth” is not too different from “Stranger Things.” Netflix knows it has a hit show on its hands although a second season announcement has yet to come out.

The comics have over 40 issues and for those who got to watch “Sweet Tooth” season one, there is still a whole lot more to cover. The first season seemed to be scratching only the surface. This means there are a whole lot more twists that have yet to be told.

There were iterations from the comics in the first season. While most know that series like this will take their cue from the comics, it only means more twists are likely to happen if a season 2 does follow.

Aside from the storyline, the cast has been overwhelmed. Should a second season come out, expect Nonso Anosie, Christian Convery, Stefania LaVie Owen, Adeel Akhtar, Aliza Vellani, Dania Ramirez, Neil Sandilands and James Brolin to be back.

Naledi Murray and Will Forte are also likely to return with both possibly part of Gus’ past. Gus already met Wendy and Bobby and an escape from the compound is likely to happen once season two of “Sweet Tooth” is booked.

For now, all “Sweet Tooth” fans can do is speculate. A second season has not been confirmed although all that could change soon. And until a formal announcement is made on the Robert Downey Jr.- produced series, a safe bet would be by the Autumn of 2022.
