President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton has accused him of working behind-the-scenes on several misdeeds, including asking help from China’s President Xi Jinping to win the November elections in the U.S.

Bolton was fired by the U.S. President in September 2019 over “policy differences.” The explosive revelations are going to be printed in his book titled “The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir.” However, the excerpts from the book were printed ahead of its publication in a media report.

In the book, Bolton has described how once Trump even expressed his willingness to stop criminal investigations to provide “personal favors” to the dictators he liked.

Bolton further portrays Trump as a U.S. president mocked by his top advisers and how he was impeached by the Democratic-led House of Representatives in 2019.

Trump has been accused of holding back U.S. military aid to pressurize Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky so that he released information on Joe Biden, Trump’s Democratic opponent. The Republican-led Senate acquitted Trump in February 2020.

Trump’s portrayal in the book is expected to provide some material to his critics ahead of the Nov. 3 Presidential Elections. The behind-the-scenes accounts of Trump’s conversations with China’s Xi Jinping could prove to be one of the most damaging revelations for POTUS.

"Trump then, stunningly, turned the conversation to the coming U.S. presidential election, alluding to China’s economic capability and pleading with Xi to ensure he’d win," Bolton wrote, according to the reports that have surfaced in the media.

Biden has said that if the details mentioned in the boom are true, then it is a violation of Trump’s duty toward Americans.

Meanwhile, Trump accused Bolton of breaking the law by covering crucial and highly confidential, classified material in the book and framed him a “liar.”

Bolton has been criticized by the California Democrat Adam Schiff, who led the prosecution of Republican Trump. He said that Bolton hid all these facts for his book and declined to testify when such disclosures could have been crucial.
