A 57‑year‑old Minnesota man, identified as Vance Luther Boelter, has been arrested following a violent, politically motivated attack. On June 14, he allegedly fatally shot former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband in Brooklyn Park and gravely wounded State Senator John Hoffman and his wife in Champlin.
