Season 5 of "The Voice" revealed the Top 5 moving onto the semi-finals next week. It was an anxious night for the remaining coaches -- Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine -- who anxiously awaited the fate of their remaining artists. Cee Lo Green lost his last artist, 17-year-old Caroline Pennell, earlier in the competition. So, he got to hang back and relax. Tonight one of the Top 6 was sent sent home to create the Top 5. Prior to tonight, Christina had two artists, Blake had one and Adam had three. It was hard to tell who might be sent home this week as all of the artists made it into the Top 50 on the iTunes Charts with the stunning performances they gave last night.

Superstar Kelly Clarkson opened up the show with a holiday performance of "Underneath The Tree" off her holiday album "Wrapped In Red." A crew of dancers came out a passed around presents to the crowd and coaches. Kelly looked stunning in a sparkling red dress. Blake performed with Season 1 artist Xenia a holiday classic of "Silver Bells." The Top 6 also performed a holiday classic of "Joy To The World." Tessanne Chin, Matthew Schuler and Jacquie Lee got together to do a cover of "You've Got The Love" by Florence + The Machine. James Wolpert, Cole Vosbury and Will Champlin performed "More Than Words" by Nuno Bettencourt. In between the performances, Carson Daly announced one by one the artists that were saved by America after last night's performances.

First to be saved was Jacquie Lee from Team Xina. Earlier in the episode Christina told the audience how she Jacquie and Matthew had formed a special bond on the "The Voice" that the three of them would have continuing on after the show. Next to be saved was Cole Vosbury from Team Blake. Blake affectionately renamed his team: Team Cole. Cole's adorbale grandmother was shaking and crying in excitement after Cole's name was called. Tessanne Chin from Team Adam was the next to be saved followed closely by Will Champlin, also from Team Adam. And then we saw the last of the Instant Save for "The Voice" Season 5 as it saved James Wolpert over Matthew Schuler. Adam pleaded for James saying that he was sick last night and needed to continue on in the competition.
