With only 28 days to go until Americans go to the polls, today marks the last day voters in key battleground states can register to vote.

Today is the last day to register to vote in Arizona, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah.

A latest national CNN Poll of Polls show that GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney is ahead of President Obama by a very narrow margin. Forty-eight percent of likely voters said Romney is their choice for president and 47 percent said Obama is their choice.

In Florida, 49 percent of likely voters said Obama is their choice for president compared to 45 percent for Romney. Florida has 29 electoral votes to offer.

Ohio has 18 electoral votes up for grab and there, Obama leads Romney by nine points.

Wife of Vice President Joe Biden Dr. Biden encouraged Pennsylvanian voters to register to vote.

"Going forward doesn't just happen on its own," Biden said. "That's why I'm here today. That is why you're here today. Because It's going to take all of us, every single one of you," Dr. Biden told the crowd. "The voter registration deadline for Pennsylvania is just hours away, and we need every hour. We need you to go out and get people to register to vote because we have to keep taking this country forward on Election Day."
