A video posted on Wednesday by Fox 5 Atlanta reporter Brittany Edney on her X account shows law enforcement evacuating students from inside Apalachee High School after multiple people were shot.
In the video, shot by Joel Romero, students are gathered in one corner of the classroom, while officers are near the entrance directing everyone to exit the classroom in a "single file line."
While the officers try to remain calm, urgency can be heard in their voice.
"Hurry up now come on let's go," an officer tells the students. "We got a whole school to get evacuated."
The rest of the video shows students entering the hallway, joining the rest of the student body, all moving in a line towards an exit. At least four people have been killed and roughly 30 injured, some of them critically, in the shooting. The gunman is believed to be a 14-year-old boy, according to CNN.
