Tonight on NBC an all new "Law and Order: SVU" will tell the story of a famed music teacher and reality competition show judge accused of molesting children. Tony award winner Billy Porter will guest star on tonight's 'SVU" as the singing coach Jackie Walker. Walker is an acclaimed music teacher and a judge on the popular reality show "American Diva" think "American Idol" and "The Voice." Walker is also a teacher at a prestigious NYC school. His life is turned upside down when a four-year-old student accuses him of molestation.
The SVU team must decide how to handle the high profile nature of the case. Detective Rollins believes the case should be handled privately and out of the media while Benson feels the media should know what Walker is accused of. What Benson will uncover during the course of the investigation will tarnish Walker's good image. In the episode promo we see Walker adamantly denying he had anything to do with the crimes he is accused of. Victim after victim will come forward as the case is made public and viewers will not see the ending coming.
"Law and Order: SVU" is now in its fifteenth season and remains the most popular of the "Law and Order" franchise. The Emmy nominated show stars Mariska Hargitay as detective Olivia Benson. Hargitay's portrayal of Benson has earned her several Emmy nominations for Lead Actress in a Drama Series. In 2006 Hargitay won the Emmy and in 2005 she won a Golden Globe for her role as Olivia Benson. The show also stars Ice-T as Detective Tutuola, Danny Pino as Detective Amaro, Kelli Giddish as Det. Amanda Rollins and Dan Floreck as Captain Cragen.
