Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle recently attended a polo match together, but the two duchesses appeared to be distant than ever. A body language expert said that Kate and Meghan didn’t show any signs of collaboration or teaming up during their outing.

While speaking with Express, Judi James said that Kate and Meghan’s distance at their husbands’ polo match didn’t necessarily indicate that there was an issue between them. Rather, it simply meant that they were both focused on their children.

The body language expert said that it was quite expected that Meghan will give her undivided attention to her son, Archie Harrison. After all, the royal baby is just 2 months old.

“She looks besotted with him, kissing his head, and lifting him to gaze at his face with undisguised love,” she said. “Kate, meanwhile, has her entire attention taken by her more mobile children, with even little Louis walking about looking active and confident,” she added.

James went on to discuss how Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis all looked playful during their recent sighting. And even though Kate tried to keep Prince Louis still, he still tried to play around on the grass.

“Meghan’s body language as a mother currently looks idealistic while Kate is at the active stage of herding and playing with her children, trying to keep them all happy and occupied,” she said. However, James’ observations are not the only comment that the royals received after the polo match.

The Duchess of Sussex was slammed for how she held her son at the sports event earlier this week. Critics accused the “Suits” alum of not knowing how to properly hold her baby. Another person said that Meghan didn’t look comfortable while carrying Archie in her arms.

Photos of Prince Harry’s wife and son emerged online on Wednesday, and they showed Meghan hugging Archie around the neck while holding his ankles. At least one royal fan showed her support for Meghan.

“Protective mothers hold their babies like that,” the fan wrote. “I’m just here for the love I have for Meghan and Harry and baby Archie,” the fan added.
