Prince Harry used to be one of the most loved members of the royal family. But according to a royal expert, the Duke of Sussex has changed in the past year.

While speaking with Daily Mail, royal expert Penny Junor said that Prince Harry was obviously impacted by his alleged feud with Prince William. And by the looks of it, the royal siblings’ relationship has also soured.

“As his biographer, I know there is great affection and admiration for Harry, not just in this country but around the world,” she said. “He has represented the Queen on many occasions now and has been a fantastic ambassador for the British monarchy. He is charming, funny and modest; he has genuine compassion and a very real desire to use his position to help others; and in things like founding Sentebale, walking with wounded veterans to the South Pole, and launching the Invictus Games, he has done exactly that.”

However, Junor noted the fact that Prince Harry has changed in the past 12 months. The royal’s behavior has also become quite different from the Prince Harry that the public once knew and loved. Last year, it was evident that Meghan Markle’s husband wanted to simply be treated like a normal person.

Meanwhile, Junor also talked about Prince Harry’s relationship with his brother and sister-in-law. The royal expert said that it’s sad to see the royal couples being pitted against each other.

“Even allowing for some media hype, there is clearly something awry with the once ‘Fab Four,’” Junor said. “This week, the Royal Foundation, set up by William and Harry in 2009 to oversee their joint charitable projects, was formally disbanded when ‘the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex formally sent notice to Companies House that their joint name should be struck from its official register.’”

Prince Harry and the other members of the royal family have not yet commented on the alleged feud. But it was recently reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge waited until after Prince Harry and Meghan left Balmoral before they visited Queen Elizabeth II.
