Queen Elizabeth surprisingly told off her 2-year-old granddaughter Princess Eugenie during one of their outings. The incident happened while Her Majesty was also with Prince William and Princess Beatrice.

In the unearthed clip featured in the documentary “Elizabeth R,” the Queen is spending quality time with her young grandchildren. While walking outside Balmoral Castle, 4-year-old Princess Beatrice is riding her pony, Smokey.

Prince William is assisting Princess Beatrice while on her pony, and the Queen is walking beside Princess Eugenie. The monarch is also holding the hand of her youngest grandchild back in 1992.

But while they were walking, Princess Eugenie accidentally stepped on the Queen’s foot, which surprised the 93-year-old royal. In the clip, she is heard scolding Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter.

“Ouch! It is my foot you are standing on!” the Queen exclaimed before moving Princess Eugenie to her side.

But by the looks of it, the Queen didn’t mean any harm with her scolding. Rather, she was probably just surprised at what happened. In the documentary, she said that she, her children and grandchildren all love spending time in Balmoral because they are able to enjoy their freedom there.

“One could go to miles and not see anybody. It is endless possibilities and we like picnics and open air,” she said.

Princess Eugenie also previously said that Balmoral is the most beautiful place on Earth. And she has nothing but wonderful memories there.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry also opened up about the Queen during an interview in 2012. He told the interviewer that Her Majesty is a very normal grandmother.

“She is very relaxed, but she also takes a huge interest in what we all do,” Prince Harry said. “Her children, as well as her grandchildren. She wants to know which charities we are supporting, how life is going in our jobs as such. She has a vested interest in what we do,” he added.

Prince William also talked about the Queen and said that having her as his figurehead was just incredible. He also said that he greatly appreciates and values the protection he has received because of the monarch.
