"Pretty Little Liars" Season 4
"Pretty Little Liars" returns for Season 5 on June 10. Spoiler TV

“Pretty Little Liars” is celebrating a major TV milestone is Season 5, the ABC Family series will be premiering its 100th episode at the beginning of the forthcoming season. To celebrate the momentous achievement, “Pretty Little Liars” will be rewarding fans a gift, and of course the gift comes in the form of an answer. Show runner Marlene King revealed that a huge question will be answered in the 100th episode, making the installment even more memorable and mysterious. King told Alloy Entertainment, “I can tease that in our fifth episode, which is our 100th episode, a very big mystery will be solved. It will ask more questions, of course, but you will get closer to a mystery that PLLs have been talking about for one or two seasons.”

So while we would love for Marlene to answer the ever-burning question of A’s identity, we know that isn’t going to happen. So what other mysteries have been lurking around Rosewood for the past two seasons? Quite honestly: a lot. But considering Marlene has stated that this reveal will be a big one, we assumed it must be a big mystery, and luckily there are only a few of those left after the Season 4 finale.

Our list of top mysteries to be solved on “Pretty Little Liars” was narrowed down to five, starting with the unknown killer of Wilden and the events of his death. If the 100th episode revealed who killed Wilden, many storylines may come full circle. Our next viable possibility is the exposure of Toby’s mom’s history. Fans have been dying to know what actually happened to Mrs. Cavanaugh since the start of the series. However, Toby’s search has increased steadily in the past two seasons, and with his return to Rosewood imminent, we would guess this mystery has a serious chance of being solved. The third possible reveal is the identity of Beach Hottie. Fans discovered that Ezra was, in fact, Board Shorts in Season 4, so it seems only logical that the Beach Hottie will also be exposed. Additionally Ali is back in Rosewood so she could just tell the Liars, and poof -- mystery solved.

Another growing mystery is the idea that Mrs. DiLaurentis has a twin or that someone in Rosewood has an evil twin. First fans suspected that Ali had a twin like in the “Pretty Little Liars” novel series, but later the focus shifted to the likelihood that Mrs. D had a twin. Now fans are confused on who has a twin, but are pretty sure, that an evil twin is out there waiting in Rosewood. A twin reveal would be a huge secret solved, and this fits into the context of an early show mystery that has remained unexplained. Finally the last big mystery that has never been fully developed on “Pretty Little Liars” is Radley. What is Radley’s deal, and what is this place hiding? Everything weird that happens in Rosewood somehow leads back to Radley. Fans have known that this establishment is harboring mysteries, so maybe the whole house of cards will just come crumbling down in the 100th episode!

The 100th episode will be the fifth episode of Season 5, and I can barely contain my excitement! What mystery do you think will be solved? Tune in for the Season 5 premiere of “Pretty Little Liars” on June 10 and watch as the Liars attempt to “EscApe From New York!”
