A Ghanaian actress will serve a 90-day term in prison for posing naked in an artistic photo with her son on his seventh birthday.

After losing her appeal Wednesday, Rosemond Brown — known professionally as Akuapem Poloo — wrote on Instagram: "SON I LOVE YOU AND GOD IS WITH YOU ALWAYS YOU KNOW … BE GOOD TILL MUMMY COMES BACK …GOD IS IN CONTROL ALWAYS."

Poloo, 32, was charged with domestic abuse and publishing obscene material after sharing a photo of herself naked in front of her small kid on social media in June 2020.

Cardi B, a rapper, was one of the celebs who backed the single mom in April, saying that incarceration was "a little harsh."

"I seen a lot of Americans do photoshoots like that," the singer posted on Twitter. "I don't think she was going for sexual more going the natural idea," she added.

However, the High Court's Justice Ruby Aryeetey affirmed Cann's sentence on Wednesday, concluding that it was not harsh. "This court will not interfere and the appeal is therefore dismissed," she said," according to BBC Pidgin.

She was later given a bond of ¢80,000 (around $12,500) pending the appeal outcome.

Ghgossip.com said Poloo's friend, another Ghanaian actress Tracey Boakye, would look after Poloo's son while she serves her term.

"THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT ESPECIALLY THE MEDIA AND MY CELEBRITIES," Poloo wrote in a post on Wednesday.

Poloo was sentenced to three months in prison earlier this year by the Accra Circuit Court, BBC said.

She pled guilty to distributing obscene content, domestic violence, and domestic violence.

Poloo is a video vixen with many social media followers.

The Ghanaian actress rose to fame thanks to social media, where she was able to delight her fans.

Poloo was born on June 1, 1989, in Suhum, Ghana's Eastern Region.

She attended Suhum Roman Catholic School and went on to Ofori Panyin School to further her education. She went on to Adonten Senior High School after that.

She later moved to Accra to pursue her acting profession, but as her videos went viral on social media, she became famous.
